Jacksonville Jaguars 33-10 Baltimore Ravens: Joe Fagnano throws two interceptions as Ravens suffer heavy loss | NFL News

Joe Fagnano had a forgettable first NFL start as the Baltimore Ravens quarterback – their third of the season – threw for just 60 yards and had two interceptions as the Jacksonville Jaguars earned a convincing 33-10 road win on Thursday night.
Fagnano came in due to Lamar Jackson and backup Tyler Huntley both being injured, with the 25-year-old rookie finding things a big struggle as Baltimore (4-5) lost a fourth straight on the season.
With their top two quarterbacks on injured reserve, the Ravens now await Jacoby Brissett’s arrival in a trade from the Arizona Cardinals as they try to prevent their season from falling apart.
Jacksonville (6-2) did not need to do anything extraordinary to beat a badly weakened Baltimore team. Trevor Lawrence threw for 242 yards and a touchdown as the Jags won their fifth in their last six to take further command of the AFC South.
Stats leaders:
Jacksonville Jaguars
- Passing: Trevor Lawrence, 16/26, 242 yards, 1 TD
- Rushing: Ameer Abdullah, 7 carries, 30 yards
- Receiving: Jakobi Meyers, 4 catches, 65 yards
Baltimore Ravens
- Passing: Joe Fagnano, 10/18, 60 yards, 2 INTs
- Rushing: Justice Hill, 9 carries, 85 yards, 1 TD
- Receiving: Mark Andrews, 2 catches, 19 yards
Jacksonville drove 77 yards on the game’s first possession, taking a 7-0 advantage on a one-yard touchdown run by Bhayshul Tuten.
The Ravens tried to be creative, repeatedly running Wildcat-style plays where running back Derrick Henry took direct snaps. They managed a field goal on their first drive but nothing more for much of the matchup.
It was still competitive up until the end of the first half, when Lawrence found Parker Washington for a 50-yard scoring strike with 58 seconds left in the second quarter to make the score 17-3.
It was 20-3 when a fumble gave Baltimore the ball at midfield in the third quarter, but the Ravens immediately turned the ball over on downs and the boos came cascading down from the home crowd.
Fagnano went 10 of 18 with two second-half interceptions. Baltimore also lost a fumble on a kick return, which led to Chris Rodriguez Jr’s two-yard touchdown run with just over seven minutes left in the game that made it 33-3.
Justice Hill broke free for a 65-yard touchdown run 11 seconds later – Baltimore’s first TD after half-time since Week 5. He finished with 85 yards and that score on nine carries.
