2026 has been a benchmark year for Harlan Coben so far, who went up against the final season of Stranger Things with his first show of the year, Run Away. After earning millions of views on Netflix during its initial viewing period, Run Away carved out a space for itself as one of the most-watched TV shows of the year, but it still wasn’t Coben’s biggest hit of 2026. That came back in the middle of June with the launch of I Will Find You, the kidnapping thriller series starring Sam Worthington from the Avatar films and Britt Lower from Apple TV’s Severance. Almost three full months removed from all episodes of I Will Find You dropping on Netflix, the show is still one of the most-watched titles in more than 10 countries around the world.
Harlan Coben fans were treated to a spell of good news earlier in the summer when it was announced that Coben’s most popular book series, Myron Bolitar, was getting an adaptation that’s expected to be released next year. Between the success of Run Away and I Will Find You, Coben wowed true-crime fans around the world with his work on Harlan Coben’s Final Twist, the five-episode series following Coben as he narrates some of the most harrowing true-crime stories of all time. The show even did well enough to score a rare Season 2 renewal, and this afternoon, CBS unleashed the first official image from Final Twist Season 2. The network also confirmed that the first episode will center around a “suspected suicide, a wrongful conviction, and a murder mystery that refused to stay buried. Harlan Coben’s Final Twist Season 2 hits CBS next month on October 5.

What Is ‘I Will Find You’ About?

The official synopsis for Harlan Coben’s I Will Find You, which earned scores of 64% from critics and 59% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, reads as follows: “A father imprisoned for his son’s murder receives evidence suggesting his child may be alive, compelling him to escape and uncover the truth.” The synopsis is shorter than most official descriptions released by Netflix, but it effectively captures the spirit of the show. Coben does not have any more shows expected to be released before the end of this year — Myron Bolitar will likely be his next project, which won’t release until 2027.
