Groupings and tee times for the second round of The 154th Open, held at Royal Birkdale in Southport, Merseyside.
Record-breaking crowds are gathered this week for the final men’s major of the year, where Scottie Scheffler is back as defending champion and looking to become the first back-to-back winner of The Open since Padraig Harrington.
Scheffler is in the afternoon wave on Friday alongside Tyrell Hatton and Bryson DeChambeau, aiming to avoid missing another major cut, as Rory McIlroy sits on the opposite side of the draw.

McIlroy goes out at 10.09am with Ryder Cup team-mate Matt Fitzpatrick and Xander Schauffele, with the Northern Irishman looking to win The Open for a second time and bookend his major season with victories.
Play begins at 6.35am on Friday, with the second round due to finish around 9.15pm. The top 70 and ties will then make the cut and progress through to the weekend.
