Gabriel Jesus: Arsenal forward completes Barcelona transfer in £8.6m deal on Deadline Day | Football News
Gabriel Jesus has completed a move to Barcelona from Arsenal.
The Brazilian moves to the Spotify Camp Nou in a deal worth £8.6m (€10m), where he has penned a deal until June 2029.
The Jesus deal may not end Barcelona’s pursuit of Julian Alvarez. Sky Sports News has been told they are completely separate.
Jesus, who joined Arsenal from Manchester City in a £45m deal four years ago, had also been subject to interest from Napoli.
He has scored 32 goals in 123 appearances for Arsenal, but managed just three Premier League starts last season.
The 29-year-old missed most of last year after picking up a knee injury in a January 2025 FA Cup tie against Manchester United.
Jesus has made 64 international appearances for Brazil but has not featured for the Selecao since November 2023.
Arsenal confirm Vieira sale
Arsenal also confirmed the sale of Fabio Vieira to Hamburg on Deadline Day. The deal for the midfielder is worth £7.7m.
The Gunners signed Vieira from Porto for up to £34m in June 2022.
